Thomson put an update on their Facebook page today about their Elite Dropper Seatpost. Looks like they are still on track for production and news about the 27.2 option has a lot of people excited.
“STIG SPEAKS: Cautious Optimism – Final tests have been performed and passed for the dropper. We are releasing the post to production. Packaging and instructions are nearing completion as well. Barring a hiccup in production April 1, still looks good. This covers the 30.9 and 31.6 dropper with external cable or under saddle lever. The 30.9 and 31.6 dropper with Stealth cable is targeted for June. 27.2 will be going through ride testing by August we hope.” – LH Thomson
