After the summer lull in news and updates it seems like there have been a lot of great looking bikes being posted around the web. Here is my latest round up of the hottest American made mountain bikes.
It’s not very often that I see a featured mountain bike for a woman. Wish there was a bit more publicity for our female riders out there. This custom bike belongs to Liz Barcheck and it looks ready to rip.

“Steel is even more real with the right size wheels! OX Platinum Steel 650b Frame. White Brother’s Loop Fork, XT Group, King Pink Bling, WTB Frequency i19 rims, Fizik Donna Saddle for the Ladies!” – Mosaic
616 Bicycle Fabrication 650B Tandem Mountain Bike
And now for something completely different… This is one trick mountain tandem. It features a tapered headtube with custom tapered steerer fork. It’s already getting some top finishes!

“Its ALIVE! Our first 650b tandem rolled out of the shop and into a 3rd place at the Leadville 100 last Saturday! Congrats to Devin and Mark!” – 616 Bicycle Fab
Steve Garro has built a lot of frames over the years but this master builder apparently hasn’t built but 20 of these mountain cruiser models. That’s a shame because it is a very classy design. I really dig the paint scheme and the look of this rigid 29+ ride. Check out his photo stream in the link above or frame details on this blog here.

I don’t usually like posting unfinished bikes but this Retrotec double is just too sweet not to post. Mr Inglis does an amazing job on his bikes and this one is no different.

Mr. Henry is back at it again knocking it out of the park with his stellar hardtail builds. One of his latest 27.5 builds came across his flickr feed recently and caught my eye immediately. Looks like his customer was stoked as well.

Bike Rumor has built up a Turner Burner project for an upcoming review. Check out their full build article for details.

Just for good measure here is another sick custom built Turner Burner by Dennis Poblete Tengonciang
