With all the buzz surrounding 650B/27.5″ I know a lot of us have been thinking about testing the waters. There are some drawbacks and considerations to think about when doing this. BikeRadar has a great new article up on 5 reasons not to convert a 26″ bike to 650B.

Bonus – If you want more info on 650B/27.5″ check out the BikeRumor article where I grabbed the comparison photo.

  1. I think it can be a benefit. It depends on what you’re trying to achieve. If you want a bit more traction and larger wheel then 27.5 is a good route. They just accelerate a little slower.
