This bike is amazing on so many levels. I really love the 3×1 drivetrain. It’s an interesting idea that I’d like to try some day.

Fat bikes don’t get a whole lot of time on OldGlory and it’s not because they aren’t rad… I just don’t see many American made ones. Especially ones that are made as awesome as this one from 44 Bikes. Can’t wait to see this in person.

Updated geometry which includes a slightly slackened head tube angle, slightly lower bb height, sliders so I can feel out what happens with change in wheelbase as conditions change, 29+ compatible with little to no change in BB height, 170mm/135mm spaced, radius seat tube for 16.75″ chainstay length and yes with room for Bud+Lou, fork powdered to match with external stainless guide to keep the brake cable tracking precisely… I know there’s a few more details, but you’ll just have to come to the show to check it all out in person. I don’t see many new photos of Sycip mountain bikes and it shouldn’t be that way. They make some incredible bikes. I’m really digging this old school looking mountain bike. Wish there was a detail shot of the seatstays.
