[2013 NAHBS] Black Sheep Bikes – Titanium Fat Bike Heaven

photos by: Jake Moore

Black Sheep Bikes out of Ft. Collins, Colorado specializes in titanium mountain bikes. They had many on display at the 2013 North American Handmade Bicycle Show. The ones that seemed to be getting the most attention were their fat bikes.

Highlight ST Fatbike

The ST in the name means “soft tail”. With 90mm of travel front and rear I think the bike should live up to its name.

The suspension fork on the front mimics their truss style designs they have offered in the past, but this is the first fully suspended fork with a shock installed. The fork with shock will cost you $2600.

The bike weighs 32lbs total. Pretty decent for a fat bike with suspension.
